What components get saved in a project?

A project is a set of reports, maps and/or graphs which may include any or all of the following:

  • Demographic Profiles
  • Lifestyle Target Lists
  • Thematic maps
  • Profile Graphs
  • Target Graphs

Collectively, these components comprise an iXPRESS Project, which may include data for one or more study areas.

When you start an iXPRESS session, you must create a new project or open an existing one, you can't perform any operations without an active project. iXPRESS lets you work with more than one project at a time - each will have its own project window, and will be independent of the other open projects. When you end a session, iXPRESS will remind you if you have not saved any projects that you have created or changed.  If you plan to do more work on a project in the future you should save it. Opening a saved project in a future session lets you continue working exactly at the point where you saved it.
