The Data Export tool in ENVISION can be used to download data from one of your licensed datasets, for a chosen level of geography that falls within a single larger geography. This can be used for standard geography or custom geography.
For example, you could choose a few demographic variables for all of the Forward Sortation Areas or ZIP codes that fall within a Census Subdivision or County.

Export Based on Standard Geography

Begin by launching the Data Export tool.

Choose Standard Geography.

Select your area of interest by clicking the check mark next to it.

Select the Geographic Detail Level using the list. This is the smaller geography in your area of interest that you would like to see data for.

Select your desired data source from the drop-down list.

Select the appropriate variables by clicking the box next to them. You can expand sections to select individual variables, or select an entire section.
Note: There is a limit of 250 variables that can be downloaded at a time.
Tip: You can search for variables as well if you do not know what section they are found in.

Click Create.

A notification will appear saying that your export is ready, but if you can also click Results in the side panel.

Your most recent export will appear at the top of the list. Click the name to open the export as a CSV file.
Note: In the CSV file, the chosen geographies are listed down the left-hand side, and all the variables are listed across the top.
Export Based on Custom Geography
The process is almost identical to the one above, except that instead of choosing from a set list for the Geographic Detail Level, you have the option to choose from areas that you have created. These can include drive times, radii, and custom shapes.

Select your area of interest by clicking the check mark next to it.

In the trade area list, select one or more trade areas you wish to use as the smaller level of geography.

Select your desired data source from the drop-down list.
