ENVISION offers two ways to import locations, either using address information or coordinates. This lesson will walk you through the steps required to import your location lists into ENVISION so you can analyze them, create trade areas and more.

2. Make sure your location data are properly prepared for upload

Note: ENVISION has some specific requirements for data format. In order to import your locations, you will need to ensure your data meet these requirements (Don't have a location file? Download a sample file opens in new window).
Once your data is prepared, you are ready to import your locations.
3. Import your locations

Tip: Make sure your list of locations is in an accessible folder either on your computer or network.
WalkMe Throughs
ENVISION features click-by-click WalkMe Throughs that will take you through the keystrokes of many tasks in the system.
Follow the ENVISION WalkMe Through to Import Locations Using Address opens in new window (this will open ENVISION and require you to log in).
OR

4. Complete
Congratulations, you now have a list of locations uploaded to the My Data section of ENVISION!
