Using the Claritas Income Producing Assets Distributions Tool

Claritas Income Producing Assets Distributions measures liquid wealth such as cash, checking accounts, savings products (savings accounts, money market accounts and CDs), investment products (stock and mutual funds), retirement accounts and other asset classes that are relatively easy to redeem and move. The tool presents the average and aggregate net asset income for households within a Trade Area, for both the current year and a five-year projection. The tool also provides the proportion of households within the Trade Area segmented by asset value. Income Producing Assets Distributions can be used to identify areas with significant assets, and to understand market share of liquid assets for given locations.
